Someone else posted in another topic to wrap the bar end with a rag and grab it with channel locks to keep it from spinning on you, then use the allen wrench to break the bolt free. If the bar end is still stuck on after that, wedge a flat head screw driver in between the 26mm nut and the bar end and and tap it with a hammer in the direction away from the controls and it should eventually break the bar end free.

The bolt just spins. Same for the bar end. I'm guessing that the rubber bushing inside the handle bar is just spinning as well. I've tried getting a bolt head behind the bar end and busting it loose with a hammer but all I got for that effort was bruised thumb and a jazzed up bar end. Any suggestions?

The one sure method is an air impact wrench.

So I have a 2000 Mille R and when I take the bar ends off there is what seems to be a vibration bar going up inside the handle bars. If I pull that thing out will it affect steering or anyother aspects of the handle bars. I want to put Driven bar ends on but with that rod and pin they won't fit. I have not found any after market barends that fit other than OEM Aprilia's while leaving the pin and Vibration bar in.
