The DB9 looks very nice.
Simple game really. Take an bike from a manufacturer that's almost nearly perfect...then take all the parts off that are generic, weigh too much or parts that were compromised to make it hit a certain market price point...take all those off and replace with cost is no object unobtanium...and there you have Bimota. Easy. Anybody could do this. Not impressed...not to say I wouldn't have one...but what are you getting for your money with this DB10..."the best" and "bling"...nothing really substantial I'd imagine.
"Tuono doesn't want to gently take your hand and guide you on a trip, it wants to rip it off and run away with it! I always get the feeling that to ride a Tuono you have to be a real man, prepared to fight it every step of the way, where as on the Triumph you can have an off day and not be left feeling inadequate"

- Don't go where trouble is likely to find you.
- Some people attract trouble. Don't associate with them.
- If you're minding your own business and trouble finds you anyway, do what it takes to de-escalate and walk away.
- If walking away isn't a viable option, consider running.
- If you have considered and/or exhausted all of your other options and you must fight to defend yourself, fight to kill.

Just happy to see Bimota is still breathing.

I had the opportunity to visit the Bimota factory in Rimini over the holidays and was very impressed with the craftsmanship of their work. Other than the engine, now ducati's, it's for the most part hand build. They had the DB10 (motard) prototype, and loved it. I like the Duc, but this was so much nicer, top notch components.
I also wish Bimota success. Just wish they were a bit more affordable... :/

Both are beautiful bikes. Glad Bimota is still putting out new bikes. Not too crazy about the look of the front on the DB9, BUT the Marzocchi forks are a nice touch and more then makes up for it.

I was up at the ducati dealers on Tuesday, and the sales guy and the new owner of a Bimota DB9 Brivido were stripping the crate of it, what a gorgeous piece of kit it is. Same engine as the Diavel so should be good fun, all carbon fibre bodywork and although very waif like and small, it had a nice comfy looking riding position. The cost of it however left me thinking I would never dare ride the thing, as you would not get a penny change out of £24,000!!! I just hope he likes riding it
Chris.
Here is a picture of it, I have several more on my phone, but I need to wear a bib when ever I look at them. In the top left of the pic is my my Caponord, gone but never forgotten.
Here is another piece or mechanical porn they had in the shop, powered by the old 1100 multistrada engine
The tight bastards wouldn't let me have a go of this one though.
Chris
What a gorgeous swingarm!!

The DB6 Delirio shown is the same paint scheme as my DS1000 Delirio. Even has the same carbon fiber ZARD slip-ons. Welds and attention to detail are outstanding. On a side note a fella is selling his collection of seven Bimotas on e-bay with a Buy It Now of $75,000.00....
