I just weighed a rear Brembo off an 01 on a triple beam balance with bearings and seal and drive flange with bushings. No axle spacer, disc/bolts, or valve stem. Comes in within a gram or two of 7 kilos. 15.43 lbs

Looking at all the weights of these wheels, some of them just don't add up.
The weights of the cast Brembos in particular.
AF1 list the Stock cast front as 11.85lbs which converts to 5.4kg.
Yet some have weight these ranging from 4.2kg (9.2lbs) to 4.4kg (9.7lbs)
(cast fake oz front wheel 4.9kgs save 500grams/ 1 pound off AF1 weights)
AF1 Stock cast rear wheel: 17.95lbs (8.2kg)
weight by others 6.7kg (14.7lbs) to 7kg (15.4lbs)
(cast fake oz back wheel 7.5kgs save 700grams/ 1.1/2 pounds off AF1 weights)
What I'm trying to say is maybe if AF1's weights are correct then the cast oz copies would be a half way weight saving on the way to forged wheel weights.
Cheap bastids like me could get oz looking wheels and save a little bit of weight, just not as much as the expensive real deals
EDIT: Just to confuse some more Aprilia state that the RSV4 forged wheels are, front 1.7kg lighter than stock and rear 2.4kg lighter than stock.
This would mean when you put the two together (weight saving from aprilia added to Amauri weight of the RSV4 wheels, you get a stock wheel weight (cast) of, 4.67kg front and 7.15kg rear, about 1.78 kgs lighter than cast brembo wheels if AF1 weights of them are correct.
the cast OZ look alikes found on 06-09 base Tuonos and base RSVRs are heavier than the older 5-spoke cast wheels from Brembo

Ed, by how much? Got a scale lying around?
Cogito Ergo Vroom
I just weighed a set of the stock Aprilia OZ-copies from a 2009 DD and the weights are very close to what AF1 has listed.
Rear is a touch under 18 pounds.
Front is a little under 12 pounds.
Keep in mind that these wheels have EVERYTHING on them: spacers, cush drive, cush rubbers, bolts, hardware, valves, etc -- even a couple ounces of balancing weight. So actual clean/stripped wheel weights will be lower.
Sorry I can't be even more precise but my more delicate scale tops out at 10 pounds so I can't use it for these.
Hope this helps.
(And by the way, these wheels are FOR SALE right now here:
