If you got the primer on than wait 24 hours or so, than you can aply thin coats of paint safe as soon as the other layer drayed a bit you can put on the second coat, than leave it for a while to dry, make sure its spotless and clean and aply clear coat.

One thing i did lear the hard way is to use the same brand/type of pain, i once used Motip primer and some other brand for paint and they reacted to each other forming nice cracks after the paint dried
