    Trackday at Donington

Just got to say what a FANTASTIC day I had today. The Tuono behaved faultlessly (right up to the point I ran out of petrol - lol) I love this bike SOO much!!

Thanks also to J and L motorcycles in Carlisle for their enthusiasm and friendly attitude.

Nice shots there RC, now you've made me want to get that first service out of the way so that I can get out on our local track.
Did you touch down with your pegs at all?

It was bloody close, I was conscious to keep my toes out of the way on the pegs and STILL scraped the toe of my boot, I've done the video of me catching my mate, I'd snapped after him beating me all day on his big bang R1, 11 mins of revenge coming up, yay Aprilia! lol ......

Also, if you loo carefully under the right headlight, you can see where I tie-wrapped the camera head.

Good vid. Nice to see even instructors can get the red mist come down at the right time.

The brakes were fantastic! Still only using 2 fingers and even if I mis-timed it they were superb. :-)

TC=8 and AWC=1. A couple of times you'll see me early changing cos the front wanted to come up accelerating out the bend, well, at least the bars started getting light.

For sure, it's hard to be an instructor sometimes as I'd get the "you should know better" syndrome so was great to blow the cobwebs away. I still respected my personal limits though.

I only live 30 minutes away and it's got a lot of history, this was my first track day but was proud to do it here.
