    I have cored cans that were shortened. I honestly wish they weren't shortened because the sound is a little harsher and UNGODLY freaking loud. Loudest damn bike at the track every time. Doesn't bother me so much but I get hazed about it a bunch. My incentive to get aftermarket pipes would be to get a deeper exhaust note and to drop some weight. Even the cored stock cans weigh at least 10lbs more than most anything out there that's aftermarket. I love this bike but she's a tad hefty. I am slowly working on trimming some of that mass off. New cans and an ultralight battery are high on the list.

    Hello,

    I just got a smoking deal on a set of Remus Revolution Titanium slip on pipes.
    $ 600 for the pair. (2009 Tuono R)
    I really like the Remus sound on my RC51 will post results after the install this weekend.

    The guys at MaxMoto are top-notch. Just wanted to mention that because of the effort they went through a few years ago for me with getting something fixed from Remus that they could have easily washed their hands of but they went above and beyond. And Remus stepped up to the plate as well.

    UPDATE

    Did not get the Remus pipes installed this weekend as originally planned, my local dealer is staffed by inadequate pricks.

    I am driving 100 miles today to another dealer to get map 2 done.

    Then I can get them on.

    Hope to post pics and sound soon.

    Very nice.....sound clip????
    BTW....you need to cut your license plate bracket. I did mine last week and it looks 100% better....don't need the Euro plat mount/reflector.....IMO

    I took the "antennae" reflectors off and flipped the plate holder.
    I want to keep the original uncut as a selling point should I decide to sell later.
    Same logic on my RC51, it is now 11 years old, who am I kidding SELL !

    I will do an eliminator bracket, rather than cut the original parts.
    No time to order one.

    Sound clip coming.
