I've used Sta-bil since the early 80's. Bikes always started easily after long-term storage.

I've used it for years in all of my yard equipment and motorcycles that sit thru the winter. I never have an issue with stuff firing right up in the spring.

With that being said, all of the ethanol (not sure if it's an issue down under yet) is even putting this stuff to the test. A lot of my friends with finicky KTM dirt bikes have stopped using the red Stabil and now recommend the green marine grade (since it's used in boats, it resists the ethanol from absorbing water even better). It costs a little more, but is more concentrated. I started using that last year and it works just as good.

I use Sta-bil in my lawn equipment over the winter. I use Seafoam in my bikes.

Started using Star-Tron. I don't know how it works, but when you run a tank of fuel without it you can feel the difference in idle quality and power delivery.
If can't find the Star-Tron stuff I use SeaFoam.
