Riding Boots (Sidi On Road Gore-Tex)

Anybody try the Sidi On Road Gore-Tex boots? I see that Competiton Accessories, (www.compacc.com) has them on sale for $292.50 thru 8/7/11. I'm getting ready to buy some new boots and I'm looking for feedback from anyone that has tried these before I make a purchase (and maybe a mistake). Thanks for the help.

    Sidi shoes are very narrow.

I've had the same experience. Sidi are way too narrow for my feet. Dainese are slightly wider, but i get the absolute best, most comfortable fit from Alpinestars.

Hopefully, these Sidi's using real Gore-Tex (not their "Tepor" membrane) perform better than the old pair of Sidi Way Tepor boots I tried a few years ago. The construction and workmanship were very good, and the boots were noticeably lighter than anything I'd previously worn, but they didn't breathe for me at all & my feet got so hot and sweaty I would have been better off and more comfortable letting my feet get rain soaked in an un-lined boot. I sold the Sidi's and went right back to my trusty old AlpineStars Effex Gore-Tex. Even ordered a back-up pair in case they got discontinued.

Never owned a pair of Sidi boots. Mine are TCX and they are Gore Tex too. Very good boots. I've had them a couple of years now and still wearing well.
