    Vancouver Island Priller Owners

I just thought I would throw this up here. If you are going to make a purchase from AF1 (or *gasp* another store) maybe you could post here first and another of us (I think there are 3?) could maybe add to it and then split the ship cost.

I understand shipping isn't free for AF1 etc but $30 for shipping an exhaust gasket is kinda out of my comfort zone, but if you guys also wanted some stuff we could split it and meet up to divide the booty.

    Just an idea.

i hear that, i ordered some stuff and it was sky high shipping and had to talk to them, which went well, to agree on a shipping price, they were nice about the whole thing. but its still quite costly for the shipping.

Not sure of what you are looking for (and not to take anything away from our generous sponsor and all) but you Vancouver guys might try Moto-International in Seattle. They don't have a fancy web site or huge warehouse but might be able to get you the oem part you need economically.

I really want to support AF1, and I totally understand the reasons they charge what they do (good packaging and insurance costs more), but I usually just need a couple small things like a gasket or an oil filter or two. $30 min shipping kills this for me, but if others want to go in on it the shipping doesn't go up by much if you get a bunch of things.

I would just go to my local shop but they dropped Aprilia. They did get some points back for bringing Charlie Boorman over for a couple days, was cool to meet him, ha.
