    Running lights, sorta..

Well more like 'be seen' lights.
    http://www.bikevis.com/motorcycle-le...ng-lights.html
Idea being they use new fangeled leds to whomp out 60 lumens in a diffused/spread fashion that attracts the attention of other road users. The dont light the road for ya but certaintly do get you seen as they are pretty piercing.

In the same vein of the tutoro oiler and my zip tied sat nav mount i liked these as they do the job and are simple. They seem to be getting great feedback and the owner (a biker) has new cluster and strips of these hes selling too.
They only draw 30ma -good for the Capo so!- and dont need an inline fuse (you can fit a 1amp inline fuse if you feel the need though) and are resin coated so waterproof.
They use mega sticky 3m self adehsive to adhere to the surface.

Plan was to install these quickly/stealthily and have wired to the parking/sidelight. That quickly went out the window when i saw the access to the parking light. Hepco bars off, screen, clock surrounds, side fairings, yep you get the picture.

    Heres the routing i took

    The splice

    Here they are in daylight

    And in the dark

My camera is a cheapie and doesnt really catch the full effect of them.
Not bad at all for 20 quid and seem well made and robust, the drones tend to notice you quicker aswell so thumbs up from me.

Good stuff TC. I raided the Halfrauds bargain bin last Autumn and fitted some "LED Bar accent lights" as used by the teen fraternity and mounted them vertically in the same place, just in front of the rad. They have been known to blink occasionally which helps clear the tin boxes out of the way for the commute espcially when combined with some fluro on the fairing

As ive explained before the capo is a hydrophobic beast (think rabid fox with rabies), whever it thinks its going a ferry it likes to vom codes!

If I had a racehorse I'd name him 'Nads' so people would shout "Go Nads, Go Nads!"

Can see why ya ask Blue as they look well...blue in the pics. That has to be me camera somehow as they are whiter than white in person. Wouldnt be mad on running blue lights.

Yeah the Gardai DO NOT dig blue led's and neither do i to be honest. Its usually the twats in large jeeps and the down force brigade in the civics that opt for blue.

Hey GH, nice chimney and TV aerial on your top-box ... no wait - that's the neighbour's house - sorry...
