    Tuono Aftermarket Footpegs?

Hi, just bought a very nice 07 Tuono. After riding twisties all weekend, I discovered my boots seem to not get much grip on the pegs, especially the left. Even causing some up-shifting when I didn't want to. I've been searching for replacements with no luck. I don't want new rearsets, just pegs...any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks.

A little creativity with a Dremel tool might do the trick alot cheaper than new pegs.

Thanks for the info...so I'm not all that keen on cutting off the ears and bolting on a non-folding peg, and really don't want the expense of rearsets. Just looking for more grip, I like where the pegs are placed.

AF1 has pegs? if so, I'll do a search. thanks again.

AF1 has the pegs that are used in the DIY mentioned above. You could try adding skate board grip tape to the tops of the knubs on the existing pegs.

I once etched pegs with a Dremel as per a previous suggestion and it worked well.
I think these guys make pegs. It's worth a look at their products anyway. Some nice stuff!

LSL (Spiegler) has pegs with an OEM adapters. Galfer makes them and Rizoma makes them. Neither Galfer nor Rizoma list the pivot adapter for the Tuono. I used the LSL fitment chart to find that GSXR's 08+ use the same LSL pivot piece as the Tuono. So, in a couple of weeks when PJsparts.com moves down here (a couple of miles from my house) I'm going to go by and check to see if the Rizoma pivot piece will work with the T. I'm sure the width and hole will work...I'm wondering if they will lock out on the level or be tilted up or down.

I'll report back my findings. This is an issue for me as well; want sharper pegs, but have no desire to change there position.

I just did the Woodcraft peg install described at the joe250 link....and I love these pegs!!!,,,,,,so much better than stock....especially when flying home from work wearing steel toe work boots.
I cut the stock tabs off...(dam, wish i had a Milling Machine again!)...by hand with a air powered cutoff wheel....then emery cloth on a flat surface...came out great, and I highly recommend it.

Gilles are very nice. And now my rear brake works.
    Bikes:
    2007.5 Tuono-Black, with 1102cc's of micah's badness!
2012 Griso-Silver and black, Agostini pipe, some carbon bits.
2006 Vespa GT200-bitubo suspension all around, Malossi big-bore, head and cam, Akrapovic pipe, all put together by Micah.

gone 2002 Caponord-Oyster gray (as faithful as a hound dog)
gone Futura-Red (on the AF1 showroom floor. Get some.)

The more I learn about people, the more I appreciate rocks.
