Thread: mx 50 tail light and front brake light problem.

    Thumbs down mx 50 tail light and front brake light problem.

    i bought my mx last week, alls good, now my front brake light doesnt work and neither does the tail light. i put in a new bulb but the problem persists. has anyone hadthis before or any ideas on how to solve it?

    There should be three wires going to the rear light, red black and yellow. Black is the earth, red is the positive for the brake light and yellow is the positive for the tail light. Check to see that the tail light wire is not broken any where along its route.

    As for the front brake light, I presume you mean the switch, in witch case my switch failed so I got another one and it worked fine...just don not lose the little ball bearing!
