    Tuono 4 sale

I am putting my beloved 03’ Tuono up for sale since I had a near collision on May (my birthday!). I had to put the bike down in order to miss a car doing an illegal u-turn on a blind turn. I was not injured and most of the damage on the bike was cosmetic (Frame sliders took most of it and save the bike, best $150 ever spent!)

Fairings where damaged as well as the oil pan and some hoses from the cooling system. I wouldn't take much to fix it back to spec, but don't have the time to do so, specially since I got my $ back from the insurance and am not looking to profit. I will consider selling the whole bike for $1300 as is and am just waiting to get a new one.

You have to see it in order to verify yourself before I dismantle it and sell it in parts:

I have a non-operational title now, plus all records of maintenance since i bought it new in 2004. I was preparing it for upcoming track sessions this summer and had re-oiled the front forks as well as replaced the front tire a week before the tumble

I also have a spare set of Dunlop Q2’s. (190/55 & 120/70 front* replaced one week before crash. / $250 for both

Send me a PM if interested. I will be putting it up on ebay/craigslist, but wanted to let AF1 forum members know first.

    thanks, im in LA.

I was lucky after all, and the fact that I was wearing full leathers helped.
At first my instinct to save the bike worked, which kept it on the shoulder of the road.
But it caused me to fly over it and through a small bush and land 15 feet down a creek!

whoever buys it will be getting a great deal, since damages were like those of a slow low-side.
