Is it just me or do they really look like the DanMoto silencers?

Keep up the good work Mathias, I'm also looking forward to see the bike in action!

Wiring work should be done sometime next week - hopefully!

    regards Mathias
NO problem. My mistake was assuming that harness was from same bike as engine. First bikes didn't have map switch. Just start it up soon .

    Great Project.

I just wanted to clarify some information for you.
The tube from the ECU is the barometric pressure sensor, it does NOT need to connect to the airbox. Just ensure that the tube is routed so water cannot enter it.
You should move the air temp sensor from the front of the airbox, to between the throttle bodies. You can safety wire/silcone the sensor to the injector supply line.

Also the airbox does NOT need to be sealed. The system is Alpha-N based. So its purely a function of RPM vs Throttle Position for Fuel, Spark, Injection Phase. Air Temp, Engine Temp, and Baro Pressure are used for corrections.
KWest - Improper engine managment setup can result in damage to your engine, person, and the people around you. Please tune responsibily.

    Hey KWest..

Thanks for your input.. I have pointed the tube on the ECU downwards, so that should be okay..

Thanks for the hints on the air temp sensor and airbox... I have purchased one of your cables a couple of weeks ago (shipped to Spain).. Any maps you would recommend for my airbox/exhaust setup?

    regards Mathias

    Finally! Update time!

Finished the wiring harness today!! SO happy!

It seems my headlight is pretty good at eating the power on my new battery.. so I installed a tiny switch to turn on/off the headlight, since it is always on, on the sxv (no light switch, only for low/high beam)

check this out, the standard indicators on the rs250 uses 2 holes for mounting (one for wires), so just behind the new indicators, the switch was a perfect fit!

    All electrics seem to work..

Starter is turning, engine turning.. almost ready to fire!

With the Kwest XVTuner cable I have checked the ECU for errors and updated to a new map.. Great tool - Must have!

No key.. Ignition on my sweeping this nice little RFID gadget past the sensor (hidden... somewhere :-) )

    things still to do:

    - Install fuel lines (waiting for cbr600rr fuel couplings to fit the pump)
    - Oil
    - Water
    - Gas
    - LED indicator relay (they blink too fast now)
    - Fitting the battery to the side fairing (the glue didnīt hold, hehe )
    - Fitting the license plate light

Looks like you will be having some time on your hands soon could maybe make a few dozen sets of rearsets???
I suspect the world is probably ready for another chain adjuster production run too.......

Thanks man .. Yea.. really glad I finally finished the damn electrical stuff ..
Even if I did have some spare time, I wouldnīt be able to do the rearsets for you.. the new 3d files is already sent to the machineshop, just waiting for them to start.. Will ask them again this week, nothing else I can do..
Just had 7 chain adjusters up for sale, they are already gone ..

    thanks for your comments guys..
