Engine Always Screaming!
Its Not What You Ride Its How You Ride It
I'm not sure who would be qualified to criticize your handiwork Mathias. It's not me, I can tell you.
I'm just in awe of what you are capable of and wish I had 20% of your abilities. I'm a good shade tree mechanic but that pulls me up mate.

Comments....
1. You're a genius !
2. Patience is a virtue...that you possess.
3. You think outside the box.
4. I / we are curious how much money has been poured into this project.
5. I think we all are pulling for ya and want to see this bike finished and running.
So that's whats on my mind, anybody else?

Hey guys!!
You are way to kind! really, iīm not that talented, thereīs still a lot I want to learn! but thank you very much for your kind words!
Been busy this week, so I havenīt got much done on the bike.. almost done with the wiring harness, just need some spareparts.. relays and such..
1. Wiring harness
2. Gear lever linkage
3. fill oil and water
4. start![]()
almost there!
great news! just weighed the bike! you wonīt believe this, itīs lighter than my 250 (that has carbon wheels) dry weight is about 132 kg!! the 250 is 141!![]()
regarding the project cost.. I donīt really know for sure.. but a guess would be about (including the 250 when I bought it, with danish taxes) 60.000+ DKR .. thatīs about 8000 Euro.. but really, Iīm not sure.. itīs probably more.. luckily I can machine a lot of the parts myself and I have some good contacts to help me out with the carbon stuff
regards Mathias

Wow! Thought you had spent way over a 100 000 DKR!
How much did you pay for the engine?
Regards from Norway!![]()
Think Iīve found a place for the battery to sit.. on the inside of the RH side fairing.. I would prefer to place it somewhere on the frame itself, but thereīs just no room.. or at least, no place where it wouldnīt get too hot.
5 mm bolts fitted from the backside, countersunk in the casing to make room for the battery inside.
fitted the fairings, just to seestill need the wiring harness and gear lever, waiting for parts..!
regards Mathias

any plans for video +sound for when you first start her up??
some of us have been watching from the start and would love to hear her take its first breath!!!
also have you any idea what map is loaded into ecu as the sxv engine is notoriously hard/impossible to start without correct map loaded!!
'Hey.. yea, well still waiting for the last parts.. not sure when itīs ready to fire.. No rushNot sure what map is in the ECU, but probably the standard one ..
I will buy the kwest's cable that you talked about, but it should be able to start and run (not perfect, but OK for test start) with the standard map to start with..
I will post some videos for sureIīm really looking forward to hear the new exhausts!
regards Mathias
