    An Old Git en France

A few pics from our trip last week through France, 1st one ever on a bike, 1st one with the boss in tow, don't think it will be the last.
We found some amazing places we would never have seen in a car, some food that was to die for and the beer......

Stopped on the way back in Everaux I think, this was tucked round the corner on a little river running through the town, absolute beauty.

    Gents, go get your passports.

Well at just on 6' 2" if I sit-up rather than lay on the tankbag, I can see the speedo and anyway I had my bodged satnav holder with the TomTom on it which holds just above the shelf, inside the screed so I used that mostly, although in truth don't register the speed that much.

Thought that it carried all the weight quite well, would have hate to put it all on a weighbridge though, I start at 16 stone on my own, so good job the engine has lots of Torque......or is that Talk considering who was behind me all the way?

They are Motad Venom, from here in the good old UK.
Bought them on fleabay last year, they are really good price & good sound.
There is no deterioration of the finish, so I am very pleased with them.

Believe you can buy direct as well, depends where in the world you are I guess.
    www.motad.co.uk

    Happy shopping.

    Nice one OG.

i was thinking about when your trip was the other day, and your panniers.

how did the copper pannier rails hold up? looks like they stayed intact.

i have ridden to italy, spain, france, swizerland, austria, holland, germany on my falco but never with a pilion.

i did folkstone to interlaken in one day and have ridden from Metz to worcester in one day also on the falco, no problems.

fair play to your wife for riding pillion. looks like you had good weather also.
