Rocky Mountain Aprilia Owners Meet/Ride/BBQ

Hello fellow Aprilia owners, I have an idea and looking for some input.

I was thinking of having an Aprilia Owners Meet. I’m not sure of a few things, so I thought it would be best to bring it to the people that would join.

How long? If we do a day we can have a great time, but would be for the locals only. If we do a weekend event I think we can get some of our fellow riders from around Colorado.

What we do depends on how long it goes. If it’s just a day we could get together and go for a nice ride in the wonderful Rocky Mountains then end up at a park or what ever and have one HELL of a BBQ. If it’s a multi day event we can have same things as a single day but might be able to ride deeper into the mountains and stay a night somewhere cool.

I think if this takes off it would be great to meet at Fay Myers since they are Denver’s only Aprilia dealer. What better way to sell a bike if buys see that owning an Aprilia is just a little different then owning *input jap bike here*

Dates??? I have no idea. I’d say June or July. Yes it’s a little hotter, but less chance of rain.

...but can offer limited help since I'll be hauling a$$ all the way from Chicago. Could care less if it is a day or weekend event, just wanna ride.

I'm not sure if I can get the time off, but I'm certainly interested. I'd be riding from Michigan, so anyone along the way that would like to meet up, the company would be appreciated. Post some dates and I'll see what the boss says.

Howdy from DallAss,
There is a yearly BMW event in Paonia CO this July (around the 19th I think).
Usually around 1k bikes there,which makes for a not to big, while still having something to see and do kind of thing. The town really appreciates bikers too. EXCELLENT rifding for many miles around; great territory to smoke the BMWs on our Futuras!

I'm here in Colorado and can ride almost any Saturday or Monday.

Twin Peaks Power Sports sell Aprilias and is North of Denver and they are far superior to Fay Myers.
