Hey just wondering if anyone on here had an RSV4R with rego V4PIG ? They would have pranged it earlier this year and it was written off - if so would love to hear any details on the bike as I am looking at buying it from a salvager and coverting it for a track bike.

Yeah mate, they guys are pretty good at Brisans. Pick her up tomorrow. Cant wait. So dave works at Brisans ? I spoke to someone from the service department that said 'why would you get the race map for pipe that u don't know its mapped for, and he only spoke of the Akrapovic and the ECU map - - This made me feel as though they weren't interested in fitting a GP2 and RAce ECU Map. Hmm
I'm looking for a pair of stock Tuono V2 footpegs if anyone has some they don't need. I want to fit them to a Shiver and believe they will go straight on. Not interested in pillion pegs. PM me if you can help.

I'm glad Brisans have picked up the aprilia namehold, as they are one of the most reputable shops in newcastle. They probably havent had experience with the GP2, but have experience with akra's for other bikes they sell BMW's trumpys? yeah mate - if your ever going on a ride, pm me and will try tag along. The bike sounds better than i expected with the stock pipe.. but will still change it in the future.

Hey all, Long time reader but like a few others never visited this section. I had an RSV1000R 2006 model which I loved but sold it recently for a bmw1000rr. I miss the V-Twin big time, might have to find another one at some stage.
If anyone is ever in need of suspension help, I work for an authorised Ohlins / Andreani suspension workshop in Melbourne. We are the Australian distributor for Andreani who run the Ohlins racing side of things in WSBK etc. They make adjustable cartridge kits for all the Shiva's, Dorso's and of course all the other 1000's.
