    Yeah... you can use the teflon tape and a bunch of it. On the single pin sensor you can't as the threads make the ground for the sensor.

    Found another!

    Just got back from Walmart, and according to the back label it appears that Prestone® Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant is also Nitrite free / Phosphate free / Borate free / Silicate free.

    Retails for $10/gal+tax, minus $7 mail-in rebate, plus 44¢ 1st-class postage, that's about $4.27/gal, and this is not the 50/50 but the concentrate-type -- not a bad price!

    Ok, thanks for the reply. I see in your photos that you've removed the motor, or at least the cylinder head. Which would obviously make thermostat access a whole lot easier but how would I access those 5mm hex bolts while everything is still assembled? IIRC, the frame is in the way with the inspection covers removed.
