2007 SXV 5.5 low miles, re-seal done!

Unfortunately, I have to sell the most fun bike I have ever owned... A 2007 Aprilia SXV550 Motard. This thing is awesome and I wish I didn't have to sell it, but my business needs cash, so the toys have to go!

This bike is a hoot, and I have already re-sealed the engine cases that are notorious for leaking,(orange sealant motors), replaced the starter with a High-current rebuilt version, ($175.00 upgrade) installed a custom undertail license plate holder, LED tail light and LED license plate light, and replaced the oil seal on the oil pump that is known to fail and allow the gear oil to mix with the engine oil. Tires are practically new, and the bike runs great! milage is only 860-ish on the chassis and 500-ish on the motor. they may be a little higher by the time it sells, as I ride this bike every time I get a chance. The prior owner, who ignored the blown seal warning signs and cooked the first motor, also cut the brake light wires off at the switches. I have re-soldered the wires onto the back brake switch, but you will have to replace the front brake switch to make the front brake light the switch. other than that, all is good with this bike.

I am not a wheelie rider or tire slider(intentionally) or hooligan, so I cannot justify keeping this bike, as it would be a waste of it's potential. Don't have time to learn these skills, and would prefer to learn them on a beater bike, not this gem, if I did have the time.

Price is $4,500 or best offer, because I need cash NOW, but we all know this bike is worth more than that. I have put about 150 miles on bike since seal replacement and new starter and all indications are good that every thing is 100%. (I am an ex-racer and engine builder and I have friends at aprilia that guided me through the whole process)
