Done with the road test. And here are the results from a multimeter attached directly to a brand new Yuasa YTX14 battery:
    - idle with no load: 14.05-14.1V
    - idle with all lights on - 13.6-13.7V
    - over 4krpm with all lights on - 13.85-13.99V
Couldn't reach 14V under full load at any revs.

The rectifier was stone cold on the move, getting slightly warm after few minutes of idle, but there's below 20 Celsius here today.

Voltage drop I was worried about(braking light, turn indicators)?
    - above 2krpm there is none at the battery, but accessory voltmeter shows immediately 0.5-1V drop
    - 0.2-0.4V drop at the battery when idle

Gonna do that negative wire bypass for the pace of mind and forget about the whole thing while it's working

If you're looking brand new then a honda dealer - Think they are from a CBR 600. Starts with FH008 on the part
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy

    Will a FH008EH from a CBR1000RR fireblade 08-16 work ok?
What size of wiring should be used to join the 3 x YELLOW wires from the alternator to the regulator and then the regulator to the battery 1 x RED and 1 x GREEN ?
