I recently had to "reconnect" the wires on my speedo cable. One of the leads broke up top near the small white connector. I guess it took only so much bending at that connection point. I respliced the wires and beefed up that bend. I also check the magnetic "pick-up" on the front rotor, making sure it isn't messed up or missing.
