RS125 engine wont fit (Rotax) you need a Cagiva Mito 125 Engine, but its not a question of just fitting an Engine in the RS50

But if you really want to go ahaed and stick a RS125 engine in your RS50 frame look for help in the 125 section.

Already told you its much better to just tune your AM6 engine up, if you do it right you make those guys on there 15HP RS125's cry wen you leave them in your dust with your tuned AM6.

Already mentioned wich one up there, and with a 125 engine in a RS50 its not gonna be more reliable at all, you get all sorts of frame and suspension isues.

I dont know what your trying to achieve but my RS50 AM6 with 75cc did 3000 miles problem free and i only removed the tunning parts because my bike would have been impounded and schredded if i didnt bring it back to 30mph max (it actualy was impounded but they screwed up the papers on the impound so they had to give it back, but i had to show it "restricted" with in a week)
Sold the Cilinder together with some other tuning parts to someone in the USA after that.

im guessing the standard parts for beefing up the rs50 are:

    70-80cc BBK
reed valves to go with it (0.5?)
    21mm Dellorto Carb
    new exhaust
new Sprockets (don't ask me what ones!)

    optional:

Maybe a new Crank (not sure of the difference though)
New Clutch discs (the barnett kit is supposedly the best)
new cdi? (really not sure on this though :P)

    anything im missing? :P

the majority of those thing have been done on my bike, and must say its awesome. i can do about 50+ in 5th with out being in stupid rpms

if you swap the engine for a 125 will you register it as a 125?

Nailed it. On old shape go to a 14T for around a 75mph clock reading.

omg i am right for once!

but i think a totally kitted up rs50 would beat a stock 125 Japanese import? due to build quality and weight. As most of them are only 11bhp or something silly

yes you was right but with the CDI you've got 2 choices the aftermarket CDI will free up the whole rev range and then you get one wich is unlimited and you can guess what happens... imo id just get a aftermarket one

Dont have any pictures of the Open engine and only some low quality ones (old cameraphone) of stuff installed and some pics of the Airbox mods.

Next time i take it apart i (or the other engine) i make a project gallery out of it as i got a good camera now for that.

Other than that you wouldnt be able to tell anything from the pictures as the changes where just minimal and mostly amaimed at getting a better flow trough the cilinder.

Onlything on there now is the 24mm Carb (my 12mm broke), a old 50cc Stock Cilinder, with the wrong head, raised the exhaust port to still get a bit of power, The Ehaust and the Ignition unit, and it runs like crap, but i only had to get it running because i needed it to get to work for a week or 2 so didnt need the speed and power but was suprised i got it to run with the 24mm carb as an emergency replacment lol

Its dead at the momend though so i need to look at what im gonna do with it first, make it stock or tune it again (and risk it being impounded together with my drivers licence)
So making it "stock" probably is the better choice here.
