Adventure Bike Day (UK)

I looked at the Sammy Miller Museum website earlier to see what events they are planning this year. They include an 'Adventure Bike Ride Out Day' on Sunday 6th June. I called them to find out what it was all about and it's a bit vague at the moment. The chap I spoke to said they were still thinking about it and wasn't sure about what exactly they were going lay on.

They did an 'Italian' day last year, which, from what I've heard, was very good. There are some details on their website http://www.sammymiller.co.uk/PR-09-I...bikers-day.pdf Did anyone here go?

Even if there is nothing special planned for the Adventure Bike day other than a ride-out the museum is worth a look around.

Not sure if I'm going to go myself yet as I have the following week off and not finalised my plans.

(BTW, the museum is in Hampshire, between Southampton and Bournemouth.

I can second Tomo on the Sammy Miller museum being worth a visit. Mr Miller is rightly remembered for his domination of the UK trials world aboard GOV 132.
He had a successful career in road racing too, & it`s all represented in the museum.

If you`re lucky enough to catch him in attendance, Sammy will make you more than welcome; filling in the details of each machine relative to a glittering career.
I`ll be there again at the first opportunity.
