    Punisher,
The "30" you see in the Micrometer dial is .030". You read the 2.1" from the base of the micrometer and add the dial reading so you end up with 2.130". In metric, the center to center measurement of the stock links is 54mm.

I checked my BMW 2" lowering links and they measured approx. 70mm center to center. I also chekced the Koubalinks 1" lowering links and those measured, not surprisingly, approx. 62mm.

    Lowering bikes is a subject I'm very interested in (@ 163cm, 5'4").

I have also been looking at the Koubalinks (I believe they dont recommend the 2" lower ones for the bottoming out probs).
Does changing these links have any repercusions with insurance if you have a prang? Does this type of mod give the insurance company grounds to claim the bike has been modified to non-std and pike on payment?
Has anyone had experience in this aspect?

I got the BMW stand from http://www.motobins.co.uk/ it was £20, you'll also need the two springs from there.

I would source the rest of the bits locally, you will need:
    2 x M10x50 bolts
    2 x M10 Nyloc Nuts
    about 5 M10 washers

    3 x M8x25 Bolts
    3 x M8 Nuts

2 x pivot bush, motobins sell these for £5/each, but i had them machined locally. The dimensions are:

    18 mm outside diameter
    10 mm bore
    26 mm long

The nuts, bolts and washers cost me about £7 for A2 stainless steel fasteners and I had an engineer at work make the bushes (cost me nothing)

Thanks a lot, the main reason I never got one is cause I heard of friends paying 100 - 120 euros for theirs so I just postponed it for the future.... But 20 GBP is quite good a deal

Does anybody have any idea what the lubricator (#12) on the Pegaso centre stand spares page is for and where it goes? I guess this is the same as the f650 grease nipple.
    Thanks

#12, there are two. They are zerk grease fittings for the center stand. On the rear of the frame at a horizontal section where the stand attaches to, there are two split sphere like structures that the upper center stand slides and bolt into. Zerk fittings screw into one side of the sphere. #9 are the spacers in the sphere i believe.
