    Ventura Rack Question - 2008 R

I believe that I know the answer to this, but want to check before I order a Ventura rack system and find that it doesn't fit my 2008 R. Returning stuff sucks.

When I go to the Ventura website and choose Aprilia, the site offers Tuono 2006-2007. Am I correct that the 2008 T's frame is the same as the 2006-2007 and Ventura just haven't updated their site?

Thanks - as I said above, ordering and having to return it because I screwed up and didn't check sucks.

I have the Ventura rack with the low "sport" rack option....as I use my bike to commute daily, it's invaluable. Couldn't warm up to the taller racks size though.

I didn't buy any of the bags as I use my own stuff I already had.

The rack comes on and off VERY easily in 5 minutes or less. The only oddity I found was it did not line up exactly the first time I installed it. So I left all the fasteners loose as I assembled and then secured everything down proper. I still wasn't satisified as one of the supports came very close to fouling the left turn signal lens. Out came the 1/2 inch drive socket extension bar and with a little bend it now it fits perfectly.

Mind the powder coat.......it apparantly scratches pretty easily.....as me how I know...

Gone Ape, Thanks for the installation tip. I picked up a used rack (complete system) from another forum member. Now I need to research gas caps so that I can install a SW-Motech mount on the T so that I can use my Bags Connection tank bag on this bike. It sounds like the yoyodyne cap might work - need to get specs from yoyodyne and then check with twisted throttle. I'm a little put off with the price of the yoyodyne, so I might search for a less expensive gas cap. I'm a bit concerned that cheaper might mean cheaply made and will leak.
