Any forum members heading out to Mid-Ohio for the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Championship? July 25-27

I am going to try to go. Weather has been bad here in Ohio and work has been brutal. Where you heading in from? I'm in SW Ohio (I-75 and I-70 area).

I know what you mean about the weather...... Glad I bought some rainsuits!!!! We'll be coming in from the northern panhandle of West Virginia....nice scenic drive through Sugarcreek to the track.....

Yup, the silver one will bring me from central Indiana. Rode in last year and it rained every minute until we pulled off I-75 near the track. So windy that evening that my cheap tarp blew away and I slept under the clouds in an atmosphere of wet campfire smoke. Great racing though. Likely ride in Saturday afternoon and stay through Sunday, expect better weather for the ride this year.

Where are you located in Central Indiana? I also ride the, oh so cool and much faster (sorry to the rest of you guys), :rollin: silver one from Columbus, IN just south of Indy. The BMV told me I own the only Aprilia in the county. When I registered for the license they couldn't initially figure out what an "Aprilia" was. Hey.......everyone's got a Honda or Yamaha......anyway.

I'll be there too with my 01 Blue Futura. Be riding up from the Louisville area on Fri the 25th staying at the Super 8 in Marion Ohio and riding back and forth to the track for the races.

sfrobbins - Carmel by the Interstate is home, though I was whelped in good old Columbus. My quick silver ride came from Bloomington HD, I recall we earlier traded complimentary comments about those guys. Will you be camping at the track? There will be a few of us there obviously, Aprilia banner anyone? I hit your neighborhood regularly on day rides, as the terrain sucks north of I-70. enjoy.

I'm thinking about going. I'm going camping that weekend in southern Ohio but thinking about riding up.

I live fairly close to Addio in the Dayton area. We just met each other last week. Actually I have also lived in Indianapolis, Greencastle and Pleasant View, Indiana. I have also worked at Cummins in Columbus.

Addio and I are planning to ride to Indy on Saturday (07-12-03) to visit Flat Out Motorcycles. Let me know if anybody wants to hook up.
