I put in over 25 track days on my '04 and '05 RSVR Factories and then in 2006 bought a 2005 Kaw 636. I have about 100 more track days on that one.

I upgraded the suspension and put on a PC III and pipe and rear sets. She flys!

I still bring the APE on the track but last month the engine let go on Laguna. I am just about done installing a new engine.

The 04 factory is awesome on the track. Just picked up sharkskinz for it but would love an 06 or newer R6 for a dedicated track bike. the factory still sees street time when the mood strikes.

I run the R6 on the track and the RSV on the street. However, I am taking the RSV to Big Willow at the end of November to let her run.

    Thanks, Jed!

GP Suspension tweaked it for Pirellis, and Tyson has it stripped down.
Ebay will be my hobby this winter to get it back together, but I did get a killer Akra full system that is gorgeous!

Once I get all the parts together, I'm sure I will need some help.

Wrong movie bro. That line was from Piscolo from fast times a few years earlier. His dad was a TV repairman, he could fix anything.

I like smaller bikes for the track. I raced a '76 RD400 and then moved "up" to an RZ350. The RZ was SOOO fun to race, light, fast, great brakes and cheap to crash (usually just a lever).

I've ridden a highly modded FZ6 that was fun but it really wasn't up to snuff for the track.

I've tracked the Buell twice, once at big Willow and it was very intimidating. Turns 8 and 1, geeeezzzz!

If I get a dedicated track bike I think it would be a 600SS, like an R6 or something. Strip it and keep the motor bone stock.

Hey Kev - I've had my R6 since the odometer read .3 back in 02. It was my first street bike and after 22,xxx miles I just couldn't part with it. It now serves as my track bike. I just wish I could find inexpensive parts/bodywork for the Aprilia so I could track it more often without the worries. Oh yeah and it's no fair all the guys in Europe already have the RSV4.
