Track Bike, what are you riding

CBR 250RR.
Its cheap, easy to ride, crashes well (no body cares if you cartwheel a honda),reliable, good as a first race bike as I think I would learn more on this then a more powerful bike. I get to race it in two classes.

I've got a '05 R6 for my track bike. It's had a several owners but began life with Rob Jensen and has a cool little AMA sticker on the frame. It's very nicely set up; Ohlins shock, inserts, damper, balanced, matched, thinner valve gasket, LSL clip ons, Graves rearsets, full Hindle exhaust, PCIII, QS, and a bunch of other stuff. Since buying it I added a Arrow full Ti, full exhaust, Woodcraft rearsets, pulled all the maintence; valve adjustment, TB sync, plugs, etc. Micah's written a very nice map for and Roger at On Road Off Road has been sorting the suspension. The little bike simply flies! It's very fast and handles like a dream.

I built another ZX6R for track only. I love those 636's! I have been doing a good bit of paint work for guys for their track bikes and did this one in House of Colors flourescent orange. My wife told me a couple years ago "You know how hard it is to pick out that green bike when there are 5 other green bikes?"... We, we fixed that problem! Pics don't do it justice with how bright that orange is!

My track bike was my road bike before I had a low speed get off (totally my fault). The insurance company asked if I wanted to buy it back...how could I say no?

GSXR750 'T' '96, last of the carby models. Measured 125 rwhp on Superbike Performance dyno in Adelaide.

Gold Valves and Eibach springs
Full titanium Yoshi race exhaust
Ohlins steering damper
My-chron light lap timer (to prove how bloody slow I am)
Ohlins rear damper
520 race chain & sprockets
