    Cool Finally.............

Finally got my fuel sender changed at the dealers, so now my fuel light comes on. Made a cock of myself though, I ran the fuel down so the dealers wouldn't have as much messing to do with a full tank, when I picked it up the fuel light was on. Ace I thought, until I filled it up and rode a few minutes and it stayed on !!

I rang the dealers and gave them a right shafting for not sorting it, then as I set off down the motorway home, the light went out.........ooooppppss !!

I thought it would have gone out instantly when I filled up ??

Do all the DD work like this ? i.e. take a few minutes to realise they are full again ??

It takes my Shiver a few minutes to turn off after a stop at the pump. I think this is just how the computer deals with the sensor data. If it holds the status for a few minutes, it can avoid false positives due to splashing in the tank.

Mine goes out after about 300 meters

Yep, my DD takes 400-500 meters for the fuel light to go off after refilling.
Might have to take it out this weekend to see how the "R" mode works in snow...
...yes, it is #$%@!! snowing here... too soon.

We are all now awaiting the Dorso in the snow piccies.........
Think the last place I'd be on my bike is out in the snow.

I looked at my Shiver under it's cover when I road the R1150R in from work. Test riding a Spyder tomorrow and of on a 6 hour run with some buddies on Sunday. Heading through the Yarra Ranges to Walhalla which is apparently very nicely tucked away and requires some good road riding to get to.

Ahhh I to had a Suzuki 380 three cylinder, managed to melt the middle pot a couple of times. Guess the ram air system was a bit of a dud.

    That looks alright.
Similar to the Puig but a bit bigger.
I would buy it if I didn't have the Puig already.

Ive had the leovince de cat pipe fitted and with the arrows sounds great even with the baffles in! maybe a little bit deeper sounding certainly stays a bit cooler in traffic. Got to do a serious thrash yesterday the engine is loosening up nicely now (1100m) it really sings between 8-10k and hits 130 with the front end flapping around hilarious. Fuel light on at 63 miles!! Although still trying to dial in the suspension! Really enjoying the bike

I didn't actually do anything with mine, apart from wheel it out the garage, and then later on, look to see if the engine crane one of my boys had managed to push over had hit the DD on it's way down.

Fortunately not, but it did hit the Tuono radiator, and has managed to put a hole in the side of it.

So, do any of you UK guys know anyone who might be able to patch a radiator up? I really don't fancy even trying to ring the Aprilia dealer up for a price.
