As soon as they can reach the pegs... my 7 year old rides with me too but sometimes I have to "wake her up" at stoplights, and I haven't had her on the interstate yet. My 10 year old has started paying attention to road position, the line I pick in corners, and the cars I avoid. It is very rewarding to share something you love with your kids!
Yes, it's Italian. Yes, It's fast. No you can't ride it.

    Trackday!

I took the Dorsoduro down to Brands yesterday for it's first trackday. Amazing just how many people were over having a look at it. It astounded me how good it was on the track - indy circuit so mostly 2nd and 3rd gear, but really getting a chance to make it work hard was amazing.

If you've not done a track day on your DD, do one, you'll love it...and it held it's own in much bigger company!

The Avon Viper's took a bit of a beating....I'm going to do the supormoto track day in November with the SXV...that'll be interesting....

    Have a good weekend all.

    Quit my job!!

Just handed in my notice and was asked to 'leave the building immediately'.
Its a gorgeous sunny day and I thoroughly enjoyed my ride home as the morning rush-hour in London subsided. Another chance to scrub the chicken strips off the tyre on my new shiver. Joy.

    Talking Me & The Mrs.

Went to the Lake District yesterday with the Mrs on her XT125, called in at Morecambe Bay for a brew on the way home. Managed about 130 miles in all. Just wished her XT had a bit more grunt for the motorway bits, but April next year she'll be able to ride awt (well, if she can touch the floor) She's got her eye on a Buell Lightening.

    At Morecambe:

Took some pics after I had washed them:

Marricha, is it your bike that parks in Soho?. Noticed a white shiver missing from its usual place in the last couple of days.

Goof luck with the next Job.

yep, that's my white shiver in the NCP in Soho.
I work in marketing and am moving from one agency to the other, so upon accepting the new job, the old one wanted me out asap. I guess I'll get some kind of 'gardening' leave which to me will be 'biking' leave

Just waiting for the first service to be done (Wednesday) and for my bloody luggage to turn up, (which I moaned about in the 'dealer thread'), I'll be off for a few days and a tent I reckon, if the wife will let me.

Tez, if I could get my tyres to look like that in London, I don't reckon I'd be riding for very long

Good riding weather this weekend....bloody SVX is being an SXV and has a fried starter, so the DD will do the usual early circuit of Kent/Sussex....
