    Mikey,

No difference in position slightly shorter (4mm), have done about 100 miles since yesterday - they feel good I can't feel any extra vibration or lack of grip - I find the gear lever operation better as the foot rest is a bit thinner than the original.

They were a doddle to fit - 2 mins a side and the price new is 46 + VAT a pair - cheaper than the racing ones, I ordered the rears yesterday along with some Mana risers to try should get them in a couple of days (or weeks!) - will post some pics when fitted.

    Talking prepping for a burn

I'm up early today waiting fot Strada_Stu to text me to get in touch to go for a burn. Think I'll sort the rim tape out that has spun off whilst im waiting..........

I've put my decent camera on my jacket, so will hopefully get some decent pics. I'll get them on here later.

Why Mana riser? Do they move the handlebras to a diferent position?
Just intrested as sometimes I think the DD's handlebars do with being a bit higher and maybe a bit further back.. I find the more upright position on my Bahgira gives me more control on the really narrow twisty back lanes.

Then you might want to consider the Shiver bars they will bring your hands maybe 3-4cm back, they have a different angle to the DD bars, i didnt fit them for this very reason as i like the wide and forward bars of the DD

I broke my back in a get off when I was a youngster and it's comming back to haunt me now i'm getting older!
I tried a mana before I bought the Shiver and I remember the riding position of the mana feels like you reach forward less so i'm hoping they will bring the bars up and back a bit to make long rides easier,at 10 they are worth a try.

Hi all, only picked up my DD on Saturday, went up to Devil's Bridge via Waddington Slaidburn, High Bentham, B roads and unclassifieds mainly, perfect DD country. Sunday evening Rivington via Belmont 200 miles up so far, fantastic bike, may have to invest in the gel seat though ! Will get some pics on asap.

Ditto, but its hard work deciding what 4 wheel vehicle to purchase.

I don't mind using my bike in the winter cold and rain but there's some days when I wake up I just can't be bothered or I have to transport stuff that I can't carry on my bike.

I have been looking at everything from small diesel, cheap tax save some money and be sensible cars, to full on monster truck pick-ups, well crew cabs with big wheels on them. I can spend hours dreaing on Ebay at the moment.

I even considered a army tank / personnel carrier, the 40k price tag was admittedly a little too much but the real off put was the 40 tons weight as I just got the driveway done and don't think it would take it!

I sold my last 4 wheeled transport because I was sick of seeing it on the drive while I used my bike for work everyday. But I feel this winter I will need my own 4 wheels.

My brother had an E30 last year over in Ireland, nice motor but Euro900 a year to tax over there, I'm guessing it was a favourite of yours back when they came out then?

Changed oil on mine. Still under break-in period. Installed Mobil1 filter and some BS Valvoline 20W-50 oil. Will drain it and replace filter in 500 miles.
