Changing the oil right now. That plug is huge and when I took it off, oil shot out past the pan and all over my hand and on the garage floor. The oil comes out fast on the Shiver! Time to clean up this mess.

Ha ha, I only laugh because I did the same thing.
2009 Dorsoduro (current)
2009 Shiver (too small)
1983 Suzuki GSX400E (wish i kept her)
2002 Yamaha BWS
I did the same thing on the 1st service I performed on my DD
Since then I've learned to put the pan out in front of the drain hole rather than directly under it.![]()
Went out for a blast yesterday that lasted for nearly 10hrs lol (but that did include meetin up with the family for dinner)

Had a couple of scares ...was hammerin up Kirkstone(like you do lol)came round a blind corner, to be meet by a line of stationary cars waiting for a coach coming down the hill, needless to say "OH SHIT !!!" with a slammin of the breaks and a 2 wheel drift/lock up. Managed to stop in time (pheeww) and switched to "T" and calmed it down lol. So who needs to make their Factory any faster ... not me cos it still gets me into trouble lol
I got ride blue balls yesterday. I met up with a lady from the local forums who just got herself a Mana and we were going to go for a ride, but she's a paramedic and ended up on active call since the first two teams got called out. Bummer.
My radiator guard came in today! I will install it as soon as I can.

Keep your mind on the jobRad guard is one of the first things I put on Hate to ping a hole in it a long way from home.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure?.
Well it wasn't today but here are a few picks of my trip to the NC mountains.
1st one is along side Highway 80
2nd is along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Linville Falls
3rd is of me (on far left) and my friends at the "Tail of the Dragon" in Deals Gap

Went to Ducati Bellevue (WA) to put the bike on the dyno. It was free dyno day for every bike. It was fun being the only Aprilia there (except one rsv) and i managed to make 81.14 HP and 49.01ft-lbs. my DD750 is stock except decat.
There was a Hypermotard that went on it and he managed to make 89HP with exhaust, decat, filter... And it was a 1200.
Then there was a bmw s1000rr bone stock which managed to make 189hp... Crazy...
Everything else looks good. A tiny bit lean overall except at top end where a tiny bit rich... But graph shows a nice and smooth curb.

Very nice. DD750's pretty much eat the Hyper 1100 for lunch in most categories. Except torque. There are places where there's just no substitute for displacement.

I'm glad I don't have a Hyper, I love the Dorso so much more. 2 valves and air cooled, no thank you. Welcome to the 21 Century.
Its Spring Bike rally here in Myrtle Beach SC, and was thinking of finding someone with a Dyno. Now that I see this, it makes me want to do it even more. Mainly to see what kind on difference the Leo's have (along with my home made decat).
