took them off right after I looked at that pic lol.

I also got those RBT's because I dropped it, kind of a "damn, well OK" moment.

Today I finally set the immobilizer code on my Shiver to be rid of the annoying reminder at start-up

It was a pain as I remember ,and that's the thing I don't remember what the code was. rode it for the first time in 3 weeks down to get some fish and chips , and now it's raining again.

As far as I can tell that is 1943 HD WLC in the back of a 1959 or 60 Chevy El Camino. Back in the mid '70s I had the dubious pleasure of riding a similar HD WLA, with 3 sp left hand gear shift leaver and spring-loaded foot clutch, sprung (?) seat and rigid frame. It was not really up to the job riding trails in Papua New Guinea at the time and I much preferred my newer stripped-down XL250.

Probably should have mentioned I rode into town on my Shiver.

That thing is a beauty! It's impossible to find those in Texas for a price worth thinking about. Thanks for the pics Shekel. I've only seen roads covered in Lava in Papua New Guinea, if I were on that thing I would have been riding on my feet the whole time on those roads.

Looks like that you are missing right side wheel spacer.

There are matching spacers on either side, unless there is supposed to be an additional on on the brake side

No additional spacer. I checked mine and there is ~3mm gap from disk mounting screws and brake holder. Maybe you are missing inside wheel spacer and it is forcing outside spacer to go further inside the wheel.

any chance of a photo of your rear disc and caliper?

Stripped the wheel off again all spacers etc are there, wondering if the bolts holding on the disc are not standard....

My GreaseNinja (www.greaseninja.com) turned up during the week, so I tried it out on the Dorsoduro today. It certainly makes the job of greasing/oiling the chain easy! Since I'm doing around 450 kays a week, the chain needs attention every weekend so this gadget is certainly a welcome addition.

That's an interesting and low tech solution that seems like it would really take a lot of the headache out of chain lubing. Thanks for the link.
