2004 RSV-R Factory with lots of extras (Florida)

All photos are current as the bike sits now. ****$7,500****

I'm regretfully selling my 2004 Aprilia RSV-R Factory with approximately 13,000 miles. The bike is in SW Florida and is available to view in person. Naturally, no rides without cash in my hands. I will help facilitate with shipping if necessary but would like to sell locally.

This bike comes with full Ohlins suspension front and rear, forged aluminum wheels, Ohlins steering damper and lots of carbon fiber.

Due to a shoulder injury/surgery, the bike hasn't accumulated a lot of miles in the past year. I am currently riding the bike on short trips so it does get some use and regular running. I had returned the bike to mostly stock form and had sold off a lot of aftermarket parts. Now that I'm riding, I've added parts to suit my taste. I just couldn't take the stock canisters and it was all downhill from there. All the stock parts come with the bike.

Overall the bike is in exceptional condition and has always been garage stored. It's a completely sorted bike with zero mechanical issues, no leaks, doesn't need anything fixed or replaced. It has been serviced by my local Aprilia dealer and has been a problem-free bike. Valves were checked at 8500 miles and were perfect. All the "what to look for" issues that are known to occur to the 2nd gen bikes have been addressed. Cosmetically it's also in excellent condition. There are a few small nicks but nothing major. The bike has been meticulously maintained mechanically and physically and I usually clean it, bodywork off, once a month. Always use waterless cleaner and I've never pressure washed the bike, ever.

The bike has never been down or tipped over. It has all the factory recalls performed and has a brand new sprague clutch, housing, etc...all of the major parts were replaced with new parts, as suggested by Aprillia, not just the sprague clutch itself. The stator was in good condition and was not in need of replacement (so no stator issues). Fork seals replaced with genuine Ohlins seals at 8500 miles.

Has one key and the manuals. I also have the electronic shop manuals in PDF format.

For the uninitiated, the Factory model has forged aluminum wheels, carbon fiber parts, Brembo radial brake calipers, Ohlins front fork, Ohlins rear shock, and Ohlins steering damper over the 2004 and 2005 RSVR. The 2006 RSVR's added the Ohlins front fork but not the forged rims, rear Ohlins, carbon bits or Ohlins steering damper.

Aftermarket parts currently on the bike
-SC Project carbon fiber exhaust (brand new)
    -Acculign billet aluminum adjustable rearsets
-Brembo Racing billet 16x19 brake master cylinder
-Hard Racing/Brembo rear brake micro switch adapter for billet brake master
    -Ballistic 12-cell A123 battery (2lbs!)
    -Custom red/black seat
-Lightech billet aluminum full-spin gas cap
-New EK 525 MVXZ chain (black)
    -Gilles TCA-GT chain adjuster blocks
    -New front 16T sprocket
-CRG adjustable clutch lever, shorty, in black with red adjuster knob (has matching brake lever, but not on bike due to Brembo billet brake master cylinder)
    -Akrapovic carbon fiber exhaust hangers
    -Billet clutch inspection port nut
-Supersprox Trim-metal rear sprocket, +3 teeth over stock (43)
-Billet clutch and brake fluid reservoir caps
-D-ring dzus body fasteners, black aluminum
    -Quick release seat pins
    -Techspec tank grip pads
-Digital HID low beam headlights (4600 Kelvin)
-Ceramic coated header pipes for better heat retention, extra 02 bung on front and rear for tuning
    -Superbike handlebar grips
-Scorpion SRi-600 alarm with remote shock sensor
    -Battery tender pigtails installed
-Bridgestone BT-016 tires, 190/55 rear (180/50 is stock) and stock size up front.
    -New NGK platinum spark plugs

    Fixes
-Updated swigarm replacement performed by dealer
    -Brown connectors removed
-Went through entire electrical system and all connectors, dialectic grease applied
-Oil tank brazed around seams and tested for leaks
    -Updated water temperature sensor
    -AF1 billet aluminum link plates
-I also have a switched relay power source in the tail which powers a plug at the front of the bike
Wired for a radar detector too

Aftermarket parts not on the bike but in boxes:
-CRG billet aluminum brake master cylinder lever, still attached to the stock master cylinder
    -A second A123 battery, an 8-cell unit.
-I have a set of bar end mirrors on the way along with flush mount turn signals to go where the stock mirrors would go.
-Ohlins rear spring, 1.0 vs. the stock .95

Stock parts not on bike: (I have all the original parts that came on the bike)
    -Original Factory seat
    -Passenger seat
    -OEM passenger pegs/exhaust hangers
    -Factory model exhaust hangers
    -Rearsets
-Stock levers for brake and clutch
    -Rear sprocket and original chain
    -Titanium stock exhaust
    -Original body fasteners
    -Gas cap
    -Brake master cylinder

I've updated the photos to reflect what the bike looks like now (photos taken around 10/24/11).

Guy! Got your PM. It'd be great for you both to come down but honestly, that's asking waaaay too much. You're both extremely busy and have families. I may have a local guy who can come over and help. But check your messages!

Thank you, I appreciate it! I put a lot of work into it. It's a shame I have to return it to stock.
