    Bike arrived today

My new RSV4 was delivered this afternoon. I bought it without even seeing it never mind test riding one.

The finish and attention to detail is fantastic, I am well pleased with it, have not rode it yet but at least it looks good.

Fitted DB screen, Pazzo levers, R&G Tail Tidy, Small number plate, Micro led flashers, Carbon heel plates, Aprilia crash protectors, RSV4 wheel decals, Rich's exhaust

The bike is transformed with the standard exhaust removed and Rich's exhaust fitted, what a sound, god knows what it is like when the bike is opened up !

Here are some before and after pics,

Is Florida sticky about noise levels? I've got the baffles pulled on both my bikes and it doesn't seem to be an issue here in Washington. The Harley's run straight pipes around here...

It's not a problem where I am and especially with a twin but a 1 liter four with essentially no silencer at all would be ear splittingly loud and I wouldn't want to ride it or hear it. Don't we have enough of an image problem already without making peoples ears bleed?

He's probably out riding it now

I have still not ridden it !!

Got delivered yesterday afternoon, roads were wet and I wanted to fit the parts plus my Venture Shield is arriving today and I want to fit that before the flies and stone chips appear, also kids are on summer holidays so I cannot get out during the day !!

The carbon is lovely close up, not plasticky at all. I am sure it is Akrapovic carbon as it looks the same as my RC8 carbon did with the matte finish.

MRA were the only company to have a DB screen out so far, it is great quality but is quite curved, maybe because the screen is very narrow. I usually like Fabbri screens.
It will certainly cut out wind blast.

Looking sweet, am not sure on the screen, like the tint but maybe the height spoils the lines.

Where did you get the levers from? Have pazzo released a set for the V4 or have you bought a set for another bike that fits the V4? Cheers

Congratulations, and welcome to the club of happy RSV4 owners!

Your bike looks absolutely fantastic with these mods, they all blend in an take it to an even higher level. Gorgeous!

I have done/are doing similar to mine, if only all the parts would show up. Did the R&G Tail Tidy, and discovered the bummer of not getting micro flashers. Which ones did you get, and do you have a picture showing them from the rear? Do they provide the correct resistance so it flashes right?

    Enjoy!

Pazzo (or anyone else) do not have levers out yet but I deal in Pazzos (amongst most other things) so found out what the fitment was. The brake is exactly the same as the Ducati 1098 (F11) while the clutch is 'very' similar to the Fireblade ( Y688 )

When the clutch is pulled fully in it slightly touches the back of the switchgear, nothing much though.

My flashers are Kellerman, look lovely and are very bright, even in daylight.Expensive though. Rizomas are also nice and more affordable. They have built in resistors so 'should' work ok. I am wiring them in this morning so will let you know and take some photos.
