And what is the benefit of one of these over some of the others?

I'm debating whether I want to change my shield or not- more for weather protection than anything.

The links so far are great, but the main idea is for people to list OEM parts suppliers / manufacturers so that anyone caught out can locate a part without having to go through Aprilia and wait for months.
especialy for people palnning long distance tours.
