Your Dream bimota

In their hayday bimota was famous for putting Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and even Hardly Ableson motors in their bikes. So if you could have them build a new bike what motor would you pick? My pick would be a ZX14 motor in a 450lbs. bike with about 6gls. of gas so you could get across state or county lines at speed. Maye with some stealth technology, some cargo space let's say for a pair of underware toothbrush and a tool kit "a Mastercard".

How about a Bimota 1100cc two-stroke triple?

Failing that, I fancy a 1000cc V-twin. Oh, did I mention, I want the pistons to be oval.

I have one, the injected model. Never been able to get it registered. My final plan is to ship it to Raleigh, NC where there is a V-Due expert who has several of them. If he can get it registered there to my dad, then I can do the family transfer to CA, I did that with my 1999 DB4 that I bought in Raleigh when I couldn't find one out here.

I sat on one in December. Man, that thing is sweet. But not $39k sweet....

Local dealer has a DB7 sittin on the floor, very nice machine. If I had an extra 40k layin around I would have it in a heartbeat....

Well, I want my SB8 back. My moto-dream was always to have a Bimota and what I strove for. Ultimately, it's the V-Due and Vyrus that I want but a Vyrus is probably the more practical of the two.

I've always had a thing for the YB bikes, from the YB4, to the YB8, Tuatara and Furano. I had a chance to buy the Furano for $13K a while back but I bought the RSVR Factory instead. I regret not being able to purchase the bike. Don't regret owning the Aprilia but some day, I'll have that bike.
