    Who was it saying...

...my bike is too shiny and I should ride it more?

This is what 360 miles around soggy Somerset and Devon over the last weekend have done:

Who ever it was complaining about my shiny bike, I think YOU should come over here and clean all this filth off for me

Looks like someone threw up over it. I mean, there is more dirt on the outside of that mud guard then on the inside, and the rear faring is clean...?

    Yuk !!!

I trust you will have all the roads fixed and cleaned before I come up !

OZ customs would have a heart attack if I tried to ship it back looking like that ! Christ I think they would just chuck it on the fire to burn all the bugs and diseases that it would be carrying !

They really are that serious !

I have half a kilometer of dirt to get to my house so this time of year in Melbourne, my bikes often look like that before I hit bitumen :-(.

Still don't tire of cleaning after every trip though.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Cant guarantee it - our roads are shocking.

What I can guarantee is a super powerful pressure washer for when she goes back into the crate

Nooj, where can I see a full pic of your bike (clean)? I clicked your profile but didn't see it on there. I wanted to check out that rear mudguard you have...looks nice from these pics. Even with the throw up on it and all!

    Nooj -
I can see your rear brake piston alignment is askew from your gilles rearsets....ask me how I know?!?!

Out of curiosity, what do you use to polish (not Polish) your bike??

    In reverse order...

Hmmm, Gilles rearsets... caused my rear caliper to sieze and self-destruct taking the pads, disk and master cylinder seals with it. Not impressed. The lever is zip tied up (which is why it looks wonky) and the pads have been removed to prevent me from trying to use it.

To polish (not Polish) my bike, I use Autoglym super resin polish. The secret is, I use THIS guy a couple of times a year and the filth and crud just falls off with a bit of car shampoo and a hose pipe.

Not sure I've got any specific pictures of my hugger, I've posted some more pics in the mods sticky today, have a look in there.

A few more toys in the garage? My Fazer, the Missus' Fazer and Tuono and the MG-F.

Anybody know of a US equivalent? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I may be moving to a colder part of the US soon.
'03 Falco, in the fast colors
'08 Suzuki Bandit, all black. I was seduced by the dark side

    Nooj da man !

I have been getting a little worried about getting my bike back thru Aussie customs after my trip. They are VERY anal about dirt/seeds/fungus spores etc entering our country. I do understand why. We have industries to protect.
I would be real keen to get this guy to treat my bike when I return to Chris`s place ( I hope to be leaving the crate there) before I crate the bike up again.
That way when the customs boys with there high pressure guns (YEEKS!) see my spankers bike, they may just give it the OK!
