    Euro Tuoldo - ECU already de-restricted ?

So I was doing the wiring mod this evening as my battery is brand new but I had some starting issues (reset dash , hard start-up sometimes, low voltage charging etc) and after testing I figured I need the mod done. While doing that, I notice this :

fixed right below the ground of the battery, across from the fuse "box". Noticed it had a rattle in it, wonder what is it ? has a sign to be installed one side up, so maybe its supposed to be like that.. shed some light on my noobishness

Since I had everything in the open I figured I might as well check the ECU also. Low and behold, bottom left wire on the smaller plug going into ECU(bluish-green) is cut and isolated. Also the box seems unopened as it has one of the screws sealed (actual seal is broken but not like open-broken, may be due to old age and drying of the paper). Also is does say EUROKAT C.

So maybe I am a lucky one and have the 2nd map running on it already ? Bike runs perfectly so far but since this is my first Aprilia , I have no clue if this is standard or better.

the rattley thing is the tip over sensor, and the green and blue wire is in the correct state (snipped) it's meant to access the deristricted map i dont think it does much on the european bikes but better snipped than not

well fuck me went for a test drive today as it is 22+ outside and sunny.. to my utter shock, bike ran like crap after 4-5k rpm, still pulls but at some points (hotter it got I guess) it felt like a 60hp inline 4 in 3rd/4th at 4-5k up

wtf is going on ? i checked everything when back home, nothing was hotter than normal, all connections were ok, and when I got back home, close to it, it even popped a lil bit in 2nd when speeding up around a corner

These open-loop systems are touchy some times... learning how to tickle them just right is something that is a bit of a science.

problem somewhat solved, found the culprit(s) when I lifted the tank : the two blue hoses were disconnected from their plugins . Still have a lil bit of delayed response though between 5-6k in 5th/6th gear and a bit in 2nd. Anyone with any ideas to solve that or is it natural on the Tuono ? I also noticed a lil bit of an explosion when riding almost at idle at a stop light, maybe running too rich ?

Do you have the stock exhaust on the bike?? Aftermarket pipe(s) will usually fix the dip in power.
Tigcraft dual exhaust 16T Renthal front sprocket 42T Supersprox rear sprocket Factory Pro chip Evoluzione velocity stacks Evoluzione taillight converter Harris rear sets Full de-restrict Evoluzione Race Airbox Dripping in carbon fiber More aluminum/Ti fasteners than I care to count...

It's got nothing to do with that I'm afraid, it's not like it's running bad all around. It has an Akra carbon slip on on it, works just fine , I rode it 1200 km from the dealer where I bought it to home, about 1 week or so in town and around , was pulling hard and great anywhere.

Now after yesterday, it feels like a hog sometimes, and after 6k it still pulls mad crazy any gear almost. So I feel like something went bad (and prolly very simple ) in the past couple days and I need to mess with it more to pinpoint exactly what up. I did refil today btw, could've been the gas but I noticed something a lil weird : including some garage running and some crazy pulls , 130km on 12l ? LOL even my car doesn't take 10l/100km

So I will go ahead and check the air filter/box/ vacuum lines, something along those is messed up.
