East coast USA Aprilia meet and greet

I am in the process of organizing an Aprilia meet and greet here on the east coast, more than likely in southern Pa/ Northwest Maryland. Time will be early fall and maybe a smaller version in mid June to test the waters. All interested parties should let me know so I can gauge location and times. Look forward to meeting some of you!

Finally, something that does not require riding across the Atlantic! I am still working on my paddlewheel. If I am up and running, and if it happens, I hope to be there!

There already is a Mid-atlantic Italian Motofest held in October just over the Maryland line in West Virginia. Last year it rained and I was out ouf commission with a busted clavicle. But two years ago I met up with a few of the Falco guys and we had a fine ride and enjoyed the show. I hope to do it again this year. I live in Carroll County, Maryland - 45 minutes south of Gettysburg, PA.

The Capo and RST guys have done a fall ride-in in the past.

I'm in, depending on dates and times. School is in session for me until 6/12, so I won't get any Fridays off in June.

Do you have another business trip to Canada?

I think I still remember the name/location of that restaurant in Williamsport.

It's amazing how many places and organizations have turned me down locally when they ask if any sport bike riders will be attending and I say yes, but these are a different group of guys than squids. They don't want to hear it. I may have to make it an informal gathering and do it in a parking lot. No one wants the liability. The squids are making it harder for the rest of us, especially in this area! The Baltimore and DC hoodlums scorching the beltways..

    Possible locations

How about trying the Wisp Resort at Deep Creek Lake? They have hosted events with all types of bikes in recent years. Don't think the squid reputation has made it this far yet.

There are other sites in PA and WV too if that doesn't work out. They all should be a fairly central location for the types of riding you are interested in.
