How do you keep from roasting while sitting in traffic?

I live in San Francisco so it never gets hot in the summer. I'd say if you get hot because you're stuck in traffic then don't get stuck -- split lanes! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">
I commute and I'm in Texas, but I haven't had the bike long enough to have ridden it when hot out.
The "heated seat" is OK when its cool out but I bet it will not be so welcome once it heats up outside.
I've ridden around Las Vegas in the summertime (upper 90s) and didn't suffer more than on any other bike.
The small fairings lets air in as soon as you move above 30mph. And the windshield is easy to take on/off for those extra hot days.
