mine is a Ventura rack system, which means I can put on a rack to carry a bag or the grab rail that you see. Scott's looks the same, but I may be wrong...

Yep Demosthenes is correct. It is a Ventura pack rack. I have the pillion grab rail, and the full pack rack. The same as in Demosthenes pictures.
It is a good system and made here in NZ...then sent to the world.
Actually the bike you see on the Ventura website is my bike, prior to me removing the stickers.
