    What brake pads?

I have just removed the worn out front pads from the RSV (radial brake) track bike I bought last year. They are marked Gold Fren KBA 60878 'HH'.
I have been very happy with their performance.
I called the local dealer who is trying to get me to use EBC 'HH' (he is an EBC stockist).
I'm happy to change if they perform similarly to the Gold Frens. Anybody had experience with both?
Also, I can't find that part number in the Gold Fren catalogue. I can find S3, GP5 and GP6 performance pads for the Factory but not HH. What level of pad are they...standard, sport or race?

    Cheers
    Peter

I'm not much help, but I did change my pads when I did my fork seals http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...ght=fork+seals
There's pads in one of the pictures, but those are actually for my RS250 (Ferodos). I seem to remember I did use the EBC HH pads too (Speed Sports could tell us for sure). I'm curious how many miles you got out of yours and if they wore evenly. I got just over 10K miles and some were on their last leg, and others were still in good shape. They were expensive, but I did them all while I was in there. I'm almost due for tires, so I'll be checking their wear.

They're sport/race pads. You should be fine with them. They work great!

The bike does not have a speedometer. It was run in on a dyno and raced about four times and I have done around nine track days on it so its probably done less than 3000km all up. But the front brakes have worked hard for every km! And I'm assuming they are the original pads.
There is only about 1.5mm of material left on them by the way.

    Thanks all.
I'll give the EBC pads a go.
