Land speeds record for a 50cc is 133-134mph, this was done in a pod car with a turbocharged minarellia am6 engine.

my mate had an rs50 that could do 65 and all he did is put an arrow can on it not the full pipe and he changed the gearing aswell and he used to beat everyone easily round here maybe some bikes that have bin looked after properly jus run a hell of a lot better, as most rs50 have bin fucked around with sum idiot chav

Fastest for a stock bike is 77.128mph in a stock rs50 frame, with a 50cc AM6 engine which runs on nitrous and methanol.

Then there is the budfab streamliner which recorded 144.966 mph average for two runs. That also uses the AM6 motor, which is turbocharged!
Current: [MotorHispania RX50] [Blata 2.5] [Gilera DNA 125]

Sold: [Rieju RS2 Matrix] [Derbi GPR Nude 50]

Thats the one, I got it wrong by 10mph lol, this is it.

Was fuelled by Methanol and Nitrous Oxide and the engine was removed from a 2002 RS50 and modified with Metrakit parts

Those were my engines originally, have since been tuned for boost, methanol and such by John Buddenbaum. 150.6mph on the turbo exiting the last timed mile...not bad for a 50cc.

The fastest my race RS50 with 77cc stroker big bore Pro Race set up and a lot of tuning ever went was 107 mph....on a roadracing track, many laps in a row.

Youtube either my name micah shoemaker or buddfab to see the land speed runs. These were not the same people or engines used by the naked bike/stock based rs50 team.

All good, just wanted to make sure John got his props for what he did as well as Van Butler and his wife for their efforts. 50cc land speed racing is better for both of their efforts.

a bbk will hardly make any increase in top speed. It increases acceleration, then people increase the gear ratio (go up one tooth on front sprocket) which makes the bike faster.

There was a lot more acceleration and possibly a little more top speed, but that was with the standard exhaust, i now have a performance one and can get about 70, reads 115kmph on my speedo, but haven't been clocked yet.
