There was a short period in the early to mid 80's where it looked like turbo bikes might take over. All four Japanese had something in this cc range with a factory turbo. The Kawa 750 was probably the best of the bunch. A guy I went to high school with rode one year-round our senior year.

Wow, $1200! If I wasn't in France I'd take that. I rode the Suzuki XN85, it was great but so much turbo lag. My friend tried the GPz and the XN, he bought the Kawasaki and loved it, had it for about three years then swapped it in for a GSXR 1100. The GPz was the best of those turbo's, I don't think we'll see them again.

Motorcycle diary. Suzuki GSX 250, first. Suzuki TS 100, off road fun. Yamaha RD 250 LC, mad! BMW R90S, girlfriend lived 150 miles away? Laverda Formula Mirage 1200, totally in love (Stolen). Suzuki GSX 750, I'm still heartbroken (Laverda). Yamaha RD 350 LC, even madder! Company bikes. Ducati 851 sp3, wow. Honda VFR 750 RR (RC 30), am I really working. Triumph Trophy 1200, yes I am and put in some serious miles. Now. A new life in France, Aprilia RSV 03, mountain roads.

Call me crazy but I think that oil filter might be slightly vulnerable.

Also estimated auction price is 45k-55k Euro. Would I rather have one of those or say...a Desmosedici RR or SuperLeggera? Let me think about that for a minute....

What is the component mounted on the tail behind the seat? Oil cooler? Somewhat 'crude' or 'industrial' installation.

" SOMEWHAT"..LOL, I like the trick "plumbing" on the side of the bike with the plumbers straps screwed into the bodywork too....very clean looking.

It had better be blinding fast as it is beyond fugly.

If it is blindingly fast, I hope it handles as poorly as it appears it would.
