    ElectroSport regulator ESR450

    Hey all.

I have been borrowing a friends T3 for the summer, as my Mille as no pillion provisions, and of course, the regulator melted down. Looking at some of the main Guzzi forums, it seems like the ESR450 was a good idea to fix my charging woes. I ripped out the old regulator and assorted black boxes but that leaves me with a problem... no power to the bike. I see where the lead to the headlight is, and could just run a hot wire to it, but, I am not sure if that is alright to do. Also, there are a few wires that were connected to the old regulator box that now are just hanging, and I am not sure what goes to what!!! I know that I should ask on a main Guzzi forum, but, home is here, so I figure I would see if anyone has any pointers for me.

    Thanks

My answer is good for SoCal - Sean Fader at Moto Guzzi Classics. I've worked with him and I trust him to "save me from myself". He _really_ knows his old Guzzi's.
