By the way, how many riders do we have on this board from Colorado?
By the way, how many riders do we have on this board from Colorado?

Any of you guys interested in riding Second Creek or Pueblo? I'm usually out to Second Creek and IMI at least once or twice a month.
Tom
Tom,
I jump over to you falco guys thread as I want one of these too as a streetbike.
There are three of us Mille riders in the MRA that will be racing this year and I'm sure doing quite a few track days at Second Creek for practice, SCR is 3 miles from my house.
Jayrz, all red Mille std #337
Erik Z, red and black Mille R #117
Art A, yellow(I think) Mille R # ?
safety wire that thing and come out and race it!
Jay
Hi Jay,
Glad to hear mille's are making their way into the MRA. I only saw one out there last year. but I didn't go to the races regularly. I'd love to join ya, but I don't have the time or $$'s right now to do it. Maybe next year. But I don't think I'd race my Falco. No aftermarket plastic like the Mille.
Don't know if any of you guys are part of the Colorado SportBike club, but there's several of us on the message board that post when we're heading out to the track. It'd be nice to have some fellow Aprilias when I'm on the track. check out www.cosportbikeclub.org/
I go by the name BladeRider.
Later,
Tom
Tom,
yeah, that was me last year. I was the lone Mille in the MRA but this year there will be three and I have heard about someone in FtCollins building a bike for the season also so Supertwins is going to be really fun.
I'll definately check out that site and keep an eye on it.
Jay
That would be great to see more than 1 mille out their this year. Last year I went to several of the races to support my fellow Aprilia riders, only there wasn't many out their. I live in Broomfield so It's 20 minutes away. I'll look for you guys this year. Maybe you can teach me how to really ride. Jonsride
By the way Jayrz, your not from Twin Peaks Motor sports are you? That's where I got my Falco and heard a couple of you guys talking about racing this year.
Yeah you probably saw me at Twin Peaks, thats where I baught mine also. But I don't work there, beleive it or not I live S. of Brighton but I work in friggin Cheyenne WY.
Do Falcos handle pretty much the same as a Mille? I have never ridden one but have been looking at used ones.
Jay
To be honest I have never ridden a Mille. I'm sure Ed could answer this question for us. Ed? are you there
Well after some thinking I think we should have the first CO Aprilia Owners Get together. What does everyone think? We could set a meeting spot, then go for a ride, then stop for BBQ or something like that.
Give some feed back, or shoot me an E-mail.

If you buy the "cheap" version of the mille, I think the suspension is the same. I don't know about the steering geometry though. The clip-ons are definitely lower than the Falco. When I bought mine, I was torn between the two. In hind site, with all the track duty I want to do, I should have picked up the "R". LOL! ;-)
Oh well, I like not having a belly pan!
Regarding the suggestion of a meet. I'd love to hook up at second creek, but a ride around peak-peak and a beer would be fine too.
You guys know about the Colorado PowerSports track school coming up next weekend at PPIR? I opt'd out of going for a couple of reason, but they're suppose to have a track day down there at the end of April as well. I'll definitely hook up then just to say I rode it. ;-)

Tom
