Sood my bike too has that pipe arrangement at the top of the tank. I know your suggestion sounds right but I think the way you found it is the way should go, pointing away from the tank! I had a look at a manual and the shape of tha valve points away from the tank.

Ok to resurrect this mess .. It looks like Im going to be Doing similar to this exact bike Black 11/02 Beo 150 and now looking at carbs and Keeping the cable arrangement should be easy you need a Cvk copy or original Pref Elec choke no need heater thingy on bottom of Stk Cvk 36 . Ive found Several Models that will work Have bosses to accept the gold brackett for cables and has double cable holes and large circle on the carb for the cables some models Id have to thread the bosses or use self tap screws ..Im thinking go a bit larger on bore say to 30 Vs the 26 Can get 27 28 etc It all slips rt on all similar sizes and dimensions so it will work in the space we have Ive found a Gy6 Perf Carb Cvk casting all correct 69 bux new ..

47 Bux Amazon has a Asian CVK duplicate Exact like the rotax But no heater element in Float bowl .. which i want out of anyway..the element that is this is brand new with hundreds of positive reviews Not by Scarabeo owners. this is a popular Mod for Asian 150 most bolted on right outta box and drove off 4-5 stars

tomd.....that is interesting......do you have a link to that carb on Amazon??

I wonder how well the throttle on this carb hooks up to the Beo 150 cables?

Did you buy one and try it out yet?
