    Talking I did it OMG

Picked up the '04 Tuono yesterday (based on the sage advice of this forum)! $6500 w/4400 miles on it. What a kick in the ass, I never new how difficult it was to ride with "a chubby". It did not come with an owners manual or second key, but I muddled my way throught the dash and found the Vmax, 118mph and didn't even realize it! I do need additional assistance on a few issues:
    1. Where can I get a manual since I wrench on my own toys, couldn't find a download that would work for me on the forum.
    2. Any ideas on getting a sencond key made, the Triumphs used a Volvo blank so that was easy.
    3. Has anyone padded their seat, I have to admit the two coffee beans my calls my butt were a little sore after 120 miles.

Thank you all and look forward to being a member of the gang.

Have you tried these links: http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/s...20&postcount=7

Sargent make a great seat for the Tuono. As for riding with a "chubby", does that mean you've had ARAIHEAD on the pillion?

    1. can't help you there
    2. buy a blank or two from AF1 racing then take them to a locksmith with your original and have them cut
    3. try Sargent - they've got some great seats and can take your stock one and work on it for you as well.

Good luck with the new acquisition - I've had mine for over 5 yars now and it still makes me grin like an idiot every time I ride it.

AF1 has a manual download for $8.00. You can find it in the online store. It is the same manual for older Milles. It's in pdf format, so you can download it to your HD. Just did it last week myself.
